FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquefaction of a natural gas feed stream using a methane-containing coolant. Method and systems use a cooling loop and cycle with two or more turbo-expander for expansion of two or more flows of gaseous coolant to different pressure values, to provide cold flows of at least a predominantly gaseous coolant at different pressure values, which are used to ensure cooling capacity for preliminary cooling and liquefaction of natural gas. Obtained liquefied natural gas flow is then subjected to instantaneous evaporation to produce finished LNG and flash gas, note here that flash gas is recycled into natural gas feed stream.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of liquefaction of gas.
