SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to ophthalmology and covers aspherical diffraction lenses. Multifocal intraocular lenses (MIL) comprises optics with front and rear surfaces. Note here that at least one of said surfaces comprises aspherical basic profile whereon plurality of diffraction zones is located to create far focus and near focus.

EFFECT: higher contrast in lens far focus for, in fact, MIL-identical lens that features spherical basic profile.
