FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: device is designed for fabrication of pin connection of shaft and gear and is equipped with bed; said bed is furnished with four guiding poles at angles; case of reducer and springs returning reducer case into primary position are installed on poles. Also case of reducer is made with four guiding holes and consists of upper and lower parts. Specified number of through holes is made in the lower part along circumference of shaft and pinion contact; further, there are made seats for cone bearings and driven gears with shafts. Devices for installation of drills are arranged on lower ends of driven shafts. Seats for conical bearings of driven shafts are made in the upper part from inside and in centre there is made a seat for the conical bearing of a driving shaft and a through hole with a collar for connecting the driving shaft to a drive. The method consists in drilling device implementation. One or several work pieces of a pinion are put on a work piece of a shaft; a specified number of holes are drilled along circumference of their contact. Round pins are inserted into drilled holes; the pins have similar to holes diametre and fit in freely; the pins are secured on the shaft or gear by welding or circular stops or there is used a pin connection with floating unsecured pins.

EFFECT: raised efficiency of treatment.
