FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises feed device and abrasive grinder. The latter represents a truncated cone vertically fitted on rotary shaft in tight casing with diffuser. Crossarm with stops is arranged above said casing to feed tires perpendicular to abrasive grinder shaft rotational axis. Note here that said tight casing features smooth surface to allow processed product to slide via diffuser into intake bin due to centrifugal forces of rotation.
EFFECT: various sizes of rubber powder granules, processing of whatever tires including those with steel cord and Kevlar rim.
