FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises base supporting tire clamping mechanism, mechanism to feed tire into cutting zone and grinder mounted outside of the base. Mechanism to feed tire into cutting zone comprises hydraulic press with guide element representing a beam and roller conveyor with different-length runs. Shorter conveyor run and longer run arranged opposite the former have one drive roller and 2 to 4 draw rollers. All rollers are jointed by draw chain via sprockets fitted on roller axles. Guide rollers are arranged in remaining part of longer run. Short run allows varying the distance between conveyor runs. Tire clamping mechanism comprises hydraulic press with guide compressing element with vertical guide rollers arranged therein and stop pressing element arranged opposite the guide compressing mechanism to make a part of short run wherein geode rollers are mounted. Grinder has a shaft with larger-grain abrasive wheels and represents s drum with knives arranged opposite each other.
EFFECT: simple design, processing different-size tires and production of crumb or powder.
