FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: in method for manufacturing a cage for reinforced concrete beams with a rectangular contour by means of making horizontal and vertical flat cages of mutually perpendicular rigidly fixed longitudinal and transverse reinforcement rods, the feature is that the reinforcing cage is made with the possibility of perceiving an increased load with multispan reinforced concrete beams, wherein the vertical flat cages are made from integral reinforcement zigzag-shaped rods along the entire length of the span with a certain pitch and the inclination of the reinforcement branches formed as a result of winding the reinforcement rods on the projecting ends of the transverse reinforcement rods of the upper and lower horizontal flat cages.
EFFECT: increasing the strength, the crack resistance and the durability of multispan reinforced concrete beams, increasing the strength of inclined sections in the areas near the supports of multispan beams, reducing labour intensity, energy intensity and material consumption while manufacturing reinforcing cages for multispan reinforced concrete beams.
