FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electrical engineering and may be used to detect variation of rotor mode (R). In method and device of detection in real-time mode the following operations are carried out: signals are measured, which reflect passage of teeth of acoustic wheel (3) or equivalent facility, which is fixed to rotor (2), during certain time interval (T); performed measurements are quantised, digitised and introduced into storage device to produce initial digital vector (B); from initial vector (B) detection signal is extracted by available frequency (F) of disturbance; signal of detection is compared to previously identified threshold value (SO), and if this value is exceeded, message of emergency alarm is generated.
EFFECT: provision of aviation engine rotor speed disturbance detection in real time mode.
