SUBSTANCE: method comprises generating and using a trajectory characteristic which is a relationship indicating change in the sum of differences of complex amplitudes of adjacent range portraits from the portrait number, i.e. from the time of receiving the next fraction of signals with carrier frequency adjustment, wherein five-fold smoothing out of the initial characteristic via a moving average method is proposed to construct a higher-quality trajectory characteristic of the aerial object.
EFFECT: high noise-immunity of a prospective multi-frequency mode of radar tracking and creating radar images of objects.
