FIELD: physics; computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and method for configuring and organising network devices. Arrival (or exit) of devices into a network can be detected through monitoring. After detection the devices can be easily and dynamically configured virtually without interference of the end user, for example by automatically loading drivers of the devices and distributing resources for these devices. Also the devices can be associated with other network devices such as a personal computer for easy "seamless" integration of network devices with the operating system of the computer.
EFFECT: invention enables easy and efficient connection of network devices and control of their operation.
