SUBSTANCE: system for managing operations in the medium of virtual machines comprises: a proxy-driver object located on a first partition, the proxy-driver object being the proxy-driver for the device; a driver object of the device located in a driver stack on a second partition. The driver object is configured to control the said device; a first filter object under the driver object of the device in the said driver stack. The first filter object provides an interface for the driver object of the device so that the driver object of the device participates in bus functions, including controlling the said device; and a second filter object over the driver object of the device in the said driver stack. The second filter object is configured to perform at least one of the following functions: (a) sending first instructions from the proxy-driver of the object to the driver object of the device and (b) intercept second instructions meant for the driver object of the device. Said second instructions occur from the said second partition.

EFFECT: high efficiency of managing state of allocated hardware in virtual machines.
