SUBSTANCE: proposed are a device and a method for controlling return communication line interference among access terminals in a wireless communication system whose power is controlled by a base station sector. For this purpose in the embodiment, the maximum effective noise power spectral density is used as the parametre for controlling return communication line interference by introducing a return activity bit (RAB) so as to signal to access terminals on the need to lower their data transmission speed so as to minimise mutual interference between access terminals if the maximum effective noise power spectral density is higher than a given threshold value.
EFFECT: improved circuit for controlling the load of a return communication line in a wireless communication system.
