SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to switching allocated and shared resources for a communication device. The communication device simultaneously uses transport services of a line-switching and packet-switching communication system in accordance with a defined connection mode. The method involves a handover procedure for which switching from old resources used by a communication device to now resources which will be used by the communication device is carried out simultaneously for allocated and for shared resources in cases of handover inside a cell or between cells.
