FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: electrophoretic coating is applied on objects with elongated part, for example on bolts, nuts, and screws. For this purpose object (20) is placed for cohesion with retaining element (12) linked with continuous band (10), so that retaining part (16) on the retaining element holds removable elongated part (21) of the object on the band; also retaining is performed in transverse position relative to elongated part of the object on surface of the said object of not class A. The continuous band is transported by means of a driving mechanism. Coating is applied on the object on the continuous band with the electrophoretic method.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of coating application.
