FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to cast iron composition. Cast iron contains components in a following ratio, wt %: carbon 2.7-3.1; silicon 4.0-4.3; manganese 0.4-0.6; chrome 0.3-0.5; copper 1.2-1.4; magnesium 0.001-0.002; rare-earth metals 0.3-0.4; zirconium 0.01-0.02; rhenium 0.01-0.02; sodium 0.0001-0.0002; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: utilisation of the invention reduces formation of gaseous and slag cavities in cast iron.
