FIELD: physics, control.

SUBSTANCE: electronic steam separator monitoring is disclosed. The electronic control device (230) of the steam separator is functionally connected to the inlet opening of the steam separator and is made with possibility of measuring at least one process parametre of fluid medium (liquid or gas) flowing through the separator when the separator is known to be working normally. The control device (230) of the steam separator stores process parametre information obtained during known operating conditions for subsequent comparison. The control device (230) of the steam separator receives a subsequent process parametre measurement result and compares it with the stored measurement result for selective generation of a leakage indicator. The control device (230) preferably uses a local power supply (300) and wireless communication.

EFFECT: possibility of controlling separators lying at a distance from each other.
