FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to system of pulses generation for generation of high voltage pulses, which provide energy to electrostatic arrester (10). The system is composed of the following components: the first source (1) of power supply and the second source (2) of power supply, providing for preliminary supply of specified DC voltage to electrostatic arrester (10); accumulating capacitor (7) with inductor connected in parallel and switch (5), parallel to which antiparallel rectifying device (6) is connected. Besides system, according to invention, is arranged with the possibility to connect to specified electrostatic arrester. Tasks are solved by application of switch (5) in the system, which is arranged with the possibility of opening, and by introduction of limiting circuit (11-13) into the system.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of specified pulse generation system in comparison with available similar systems and improved protection of system components in case of spark discharges in electrostatic arrester (10).
