FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device includes plate-shaped body containing some part of plate-shaped body, which lies on the surface of protruding parts of roofs and faces of buildings, in the direction from their edge, and at least partially attached to them, and some part plate-shaped body, which protrudes beyond the edge; at that, according to invention, at least some part of plate-shaped body, which protrudes beyond the edge, is made from material having flexibility and elasticity characteristics at least at temperatures of formation of ice coatings and icicles; at that, plate-shaped body is made with possibility of keeping ice coatings and snow on its surface.
EFFECT: increasing efficiency of preventing formation of large icicles on protruding parts of roofs and faces of buildings and fall of ice coatings and snow from those parts.
