FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device for removal of icicles from eaves includes a working organ fixed on the wall with the help of brackets with a driving mechanism and icicle breakers. The working organ is made in the form of arched brackets suspended on a tightened string. The latter is equipped with a beam in the form of a rod and a counterbalance. The breakers represent a stiff rod that connects upper ends of the brackets. The driving mechanism is made in the form of a trough-shaped pipe cut on top for accumulation of thawed water in it, attached to the lower part of arched brackets directly under the edge of the eave.
EFFECT: improved operating reliability of a roof.
