SUBSTANCE: building with a pitched roof comprises bearing walls, a roof coat placed on roof timbers, at least one floor slab and at least one device arranged on its edge for collection of precipitation connected to a gutter system. Edges of the roof coat are installed in plan at the distance from the upper end of the external bearing walls, and at least one device for collection of precipitation is made in the form of an open reservoir arranged in plan between the edge of the roof coat of the roof with the external bearing wall.
EFFECT: prevention of icicles, ice crust and snow cornices formation on buildings with pitched roofs.
