FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: lock for attaching formwork elements includes stops with cylindrical cams installed with possibility of being moved relative to each other, gear rack, hinged joint and locking wedge freely arranged in transverse channel and equipped with fixing device on narrow end and anvil on wide end, in which the gear rack is equipped with "П"-shaped limit switch. In the latter there is hinged joint and slots on vertical walls to arrange the locking wedge. Slots are made perpendicular to longitudinal axis of gear rack, one stop with cylindrical cam is equipped with cantilever arm and installed with possibility of being turned about the axis of hinged joint under wedge impact. Length of wedge contact surface is chosen from the condition providing reliable levelling and gripping of formwork elements, the other stop with cylindrical cam is provided with internal cavity to arrange the gear rack, equipped with cogs on upper flange of cavity along internal surface and installed with possibility of being moved along gear rack and contacting its cogs. Working angle of wedge is taken equal to 3-5 degrees from self-braking condition, locking wedge has equal thickness throughout its length, lock parts are made with the method, e.g., of precision casting.

EFFECT: optimisation of loaded condition of the lock, enlarging operating capabilities, simplifying the design and increasing manufacturability, and reducing the cost of the product.
