FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: container contains casing with side walls and bottom for installation of anode stubs, top cover, gas-escape branch, connected to system of arranged gas-suction and detachable covers. In casing it is installed partition separating of it on bottom and top levels and provided for location of calcined anode before its installation into electrolytic cell. Partition is implemented with windows and notches for location of anode rods of anode stub and is equipped by built-in to it diesel-electric heater. Top cover of container is implemented as cone and is connected to gas-escape branch, in basis of top cover there are implemented notches for location of anode rods of calcined anodes. Side walls of casing are equipped by heat insulation. Ratio of heigh of bottom level (h) of container to height of top level (H) can be h:H=0.2-0.5. Gas-escape branch can de outfitted by flue damper.
EFFECT: provided heat recovery extracted from cooled anode stub, reduction of volume and reduction of aerodynamic resistance of evacuated from container gas.
