FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making and using inertial systems on electrostatic gyroscopes (ESG). The invention involves determining coefficients of the model equation of deviation, which do and do not depend on the site latitude, during calibration of a polar electrostatic gyroscope.
EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of a shipborne navigation system on an electrostatic gyroscope during all-latitude sailing.
