FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method is characterised by that the heating temperature of windings of a rotating rotor is determined from the change in electromagnetic time constant (T) of the windings of the rotor during heating and change in coefficient of mutual induction (Lm) of the magnetising circuit, which are linked to ohmic resistance (R2) through the following temperature-dependent relationship:
EFFECT: continuous monitoring of temperature of windings of the rotor of an asynchronous motor during operation without identification models and simplification of control.
