FIELD: medicine, sport.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to sports equipment, particularly to basketball equipment. Ball flight and backboard plane interaction are mathematically modelled. There is determined a virtual backboard plane at a distance of a ball radius parallel to a main backboard, inside a platform there are base and virtual basketball hoops symmetrical thereto. The aim position are generated by crossing the vertical axis passing through the centre of the virtual hoop perpendicularly to the platform surface with a mathematically calculated aim line arranged on a face plane of the backboard in the form of a colour tape position of which varies with changing that of a person throwing on the platform. On the backboard surface, there is a mathematically calculated reflection line enabling to adjust the position of ball reflection from the backboard. A ball delivery point and a sectional aim axis create a vertical motion plane of the ball centre; the axis is a base visual reference point.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of adjusting the ball aim point on the backboard.
