FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to drinking water treatment. Filter is proposed for removal of contamination from water flow, loaded with filtering material, arranged inside filter body, containing activated carbon particles, and multiple carbon nanofibers applied onto surface of activated carbon particles, besides carbon nanofibers of specified multiple carbon nanofibers are grown on surface of activated carbon particles. Versions of filtering material manufacturing are proposed, as well as method for production of drinking water by means of contaminated water flow filtering.
EFFECT: production of high quality water.
