FIELD: water purification.
SUBSTANCE: method of removal of trihalomethanes, bacteria and viruses from potable water includes water infiltration. At this filter is filled with filter material. The filter consists of body, which has inlet and outlet holes. Filter material is made of the mixture of certain quantity of macroporous, mesoporous and microporous particles of activated carbon. At this at least some mesoporous particles of activated carbon shall be covered by cationic polymer, aluminosilicate powder material and binding agent.
EFFECT: effective purify water and remove bacteria, viruses, microorganisms and trihalomethanes.
