FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be used conductors for power transmission lines and overhead lines to supply electrified vehicles as load-bearing cables, amplifying, feeding and discharging lines. Proposed wire comprises strengthening core coated with metal solid-state high-conductivity material. Note here that the core is made from composite material with synthetic rubber matrix modified by carbon nanoclusters of fulleroid type with concentration equal to 001-2.0 wt %. Said conducting material can represent copper and/or aluminium or steel or their alloys with other materials. Synthetic resin can represent heat-resistant thermosetting resin, for example epoxy resin or thermotalerant thermoplastic resin with smelting temperature more than 150°C. Carbon nanoclusters can be represented by fullerenes and/or nanotubes and/or astalenes.
EFFECT: weight, higher strength and durability.
