FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: sleeper is arranged in the form of polymer space cellular honeycomb structure, in which underrail section is arranged as monolith, at least, on one polymer material. Cellular honeycomb structure and at least part of underrail section of sleeper are made of one polymer material or of various polymer materials. Underrail section of sleeper is made of polymer materials with various indices of elasticity, besides, less elastic lower layer of polymer material is rigidly connected to cellular honeycomb structure. More elastic upper layer arranged at least of one polymer material is rigidly connected only to lower layer. External surface of underrail section may be arranged as relief. Cells of honeycomb structure may be filled with polymer, soil or concrete.
EFFECT: creation of structurally and technologically simple sleeper, efficiently suppressing vibrations and noise, occurring as rolling stock passes by, having high accuracy of geometric parametres, high resistance to longitudinal and transverse displacements in operation and required indices of strength, wear resistance, elasticity and dielectricity.
