FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to produce fuel-cell battery with solid polymer electrolyte intended for both portable mobile electronic hardware and production of charging device built around fuel-cell battery elements. In compliance with this invention, two fuel elements (2) and (3) are fitted into battery (1) so that electrodes (5) and (5') designed to oxidise fuel are arranged opposite to each other. Then dielectric gasket (10) is arranged between them all around and glued to the surface of currents taps (8) of electrodes (5) and (5'). As a result, chamber (4) is produced intended for fuel. Methanol is used as fuel. Chamber (4) is furnished with channels (11) and (12) to feed fuel therein and withdraw waste products therefrom. Electrodes (6) and (6') of fuel elements (2) and (3) are intended for reduction of oxidiser and face air oxygen. Fuel elements (2) and (3) are interconnected to make a current circuit with the help of conductor (13). Battery voltage equals 1 to 1.2 V, while fuel element sizes make 50.5X27.6X2.4 mm. Fuel element weight makes 3.11 g, it's volume equals 3.4 cm3. It's possible to produce the fuel-cell battery with the use of common equipment in the procese of mass production.

EFFECT: reduced thickness, higher specific power of fuel elements, simplified design.
