FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: spatial dimensions can be used for distinguishing several signals using the same channel and thereby increase transmission capacity of the system. Signals can be divided by using beam formation weights based on a spatial feature of the user device/base station pair. Grouping of spatially orthogonal or different user devices on the same channel simplifies division of signals and maximisation of the transmission capacity of the user device. User devices can be periodically reassigned on groups or based on changes of spatial relationships between user devices and the base station.
EFFECT: technology and methodology of improving the transmission capacity and maximisation of the transmission capacity of wireless network systems.
