FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: method helps to mitigate condition of "hidden unit" in wireless cellular network, where units use request to send/clear to send (RTS/CTS) in connection with protocol with asynchronous hybrid automatic query for repetition. Unit competes for a set of subcarriers by sending RTS signal on required subcarriers and receives CTS signal on competing subcarriers, at the same time CTS signal indicates the subcarriers that unit may use to transmit the data. If the other unit wins the competition for a specific subcarrier, requesting unit may adjust level of capacity it uses to send RTS or data burst, so that requesting unit may use the subcarrier with no hindrance to won unit.
EFFECT: reduced noise and improved throughput capacity in medium of wireless communication.
