SUBSTANCE: invention relates to livestock sector and may be used to protect hoof horn of horse limbs against wear and damage. Device is arranged in the form of basic metal plate, to upper surface of which an insole of elastic material is attached. Bimetallic hook is fixed to lower surface of plate in its front part, and in the remaining part - sole of elastic material. Along plate perimetre there are front and back fastening elements arranged for installation of facilities for device fixation on hoof. Facilities of fixation are arranged in the form of smoothly controlled pressing elements installed at the sharp angle to plane of basic plate with the possibility to vary angle value.

EFFECT: device has low prime cost and provides for higher comfort for horse.
