SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine and method for preparation of drink, such as coffee. Machine for realisation of method for drink preparation comprises chamber arranged with the possibility to locate liquid and flavoring base and drink boiling, and unit of piston arranged in chamber. Unit of piston is arranged with the possibility to filter hard particles from boiled drink by means of motion in the first direction, and displacement of filtered drink from chamber by means of motion in the second direction. Unit of piston may contain a filter unit, comprising multiple filtering layers and a board of filter base, where there are one or several openings for location of through channels.
