FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: automated massager for biomechanical rehabilitation massage in the patients comprises at least one inflated cylinder with an inflator designed for generating compressive force to a body for controlled stimulation of plain muscles. The massager comprises a programmed controller capable to receive the dynamically prescribed instructions of a professional therapist, and then to transfer these instructions to a nurse at home. The instructions regulate position of the cylinder, duration of the massage procedure and sequence of the body parts to be massaged. When the cylinder is located in the required position on a body, the massage provides the prescribed massage therapy for this position, and then suggests the nurse to move the cylinder to the next position on the body in the prescribed sequence. The instruction is time-limited and when expires, the massager is idle to prevent the excessive application of massage therapy.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows programming the massager during massage therapy, combining with manual massage and preventing excessive or insufficient application of massage therapy by the nurse.
