SUBSTANCE: syphilis treatment is ensured by specific therapy with benzylpenicillin combined with and nonspecific therapy with trental. Benzylpenicillin is introduced intravenously drop-by-drop in a dose 10000000 UN per 400 ml of physiological solution twice a day within two courses every 2 weeks. Trental is introduced with underlying specific therapy and between the courses in a dose 0.4 g 3 times a day. The total therapeutic course is 40-42 days. Introduction of trental allows improving the condition of vascular endothelium, including hematoencephalic barrier (HEB), ensuring removal of obstacles for penicillin penetration into HEB spinal fluid.

EFFECT: higher clinical effectiveness for nervous system disturbance, prevented ion of late vascular complications in syphilis.
