DIAGNOSTIC NEUROSYPHILIS METHOD Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/543 G01N33/571

Abstract RU 2699057 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to dermatovenereology, neurology and psychoneurology. Disclosed is a diagnostic technique for neurosyphilis. A patient with suspected neurosyphilis in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is examined for a number of laboratory parameters, namely presence of cardiolipin antigen antibodies in the micro-precipitation reaction, presence of antibodies to cardiolipin antigen in VDRL test, presence of antibodies to pale treponema in passive haemagglutination reaction, percentage of immobilisation of pale treponemes in immobilization reaction of pale treponemes, presence of antibodies to pale treponema in immunoenzymometric analysis, presence of antibodies to pale treponema in immunofluorescence reaction with whole liquor, cytosis, protein, as well as antibodies to Tp15, Tp17, Tp47, TmpA in immunochip format with subsequent determination of linear discriminant functions of DF1 and DF2. At DF1>DF2 value diagnosing the presence of neurosyphilis. At DF2 >DF1 value diagnosis of neurosyphilis is excluded.

EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy and reliability of diagnosing neurosyphilis in cases of inconsistent results of various methods of CSF examination.
