FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of compact materials with ultra-fine grains mainly in nanodispersed and nanostructure state, and particularly to designing apparatus for grinding until obtaining submicrometre and nanopowder using mechanical grinding methods. The installation for obtaining submicrometre and nanopowder has a conical inertial grinding chamber consisting of a fixed outer and cone placed in line with an inner rotating cone, which can move vertically in order to regulate width of the annular gap in the working area of which, moving down from the top to the base of the cones, there are additional conical elements. The installation is fitted with an additional lower grinding chamber placed under the upper grinding chamber, where the lower chamber has rotating inner and outer cones. The shape of the surface of the inner cones in each of the chambers has a curvilinear profile such that the region of the working area in each chamber forms a pocket bordered by the curvilinear profile of the inner cones and the surface of the corresponding outer cone. The lower grinding chamber has an outer cone which can rotate about its axis with angular speed ω1, and an inner cone which can rotate about its axis with angular speed ω2, can move a distance ΔX on the horizontal and ΔZ on the vertical, and can also incline to the vertical by an angle φ. Working surfaces of the outer and inner cones of the lower grinding chamber are made from piezoceramic material with built-in electrodes.
EFFECT: invention increases output of nanopowder, reduces power consumption and cost of powder.
