FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: muffled acoustic chamber has volume limited by body surfaces and sound-absorbing coating made of glass wool layer, fixed with the help of metal mesh, air gap that creates a resonant sound absorber with sound-absorbing coating and sound-absorbing prismatic elements arranged at inner side of sound-absorbing coating. Sound-absorbing elements are arranged at the angle of 10÷45 degrees to surface of sound-absorbing coating and create channels with it, which are open in direction of acoustic waves distribution.
EFFECT: reduction of dimensions and cost of muffled acoustic chamber due to reduction of sound-absorbing structure thickness.
