FIELD: mechanical engineering; noise dampers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed noise damper has cylindrical housing rigidly connected with end face intake and exhaust branch pipes and central partition. Housing is lined from inside with noise=absorbing material, and central partition is made in form of perforated tube rigidly connected at one side with intake branch pipe, and at other side, with L-shaped ring forming ring clearance with circular slot with inner surface of housing. Clearance is filled with noise-absorbing material.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of noise damping to selection of properties of noise-absorbing element and tuning of resonance part of damper.
