SUBSTANCE: invention relates to network games technologies and can be used to prevent cheating in a network game. The method of preventing cheating in network games involves determination by a game server of a player partner in accordance with information provided by a game client terminal used by the player, as well as transmission to the player of information on the partner for the game client terminal used by the player; and refusal of the game client terminal used by the player to send the partner a message. The invention also discloses a system, client terminal and a server corresponding to the said method.
EFFECT: efficient prevention of cheating in network games.
