FIELD: physics, communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to wireless communication. Described are systems and methods which make easier support for antenna pattern formation with duplex time division in traditional duplex wireless communication systems without time division, e.g. in an orthogonal frequency-division multiple access system (OFDMA), wide-band code division multiple access system (WCDMA) etc. According to one aspect of the invention, a base station can analyse control signal information, e.g. a subband in which a user device transmits, and can transmit over a down-link using the said subband with preliminary frequency hopping previously used by the user device during transmission over a return communication line. The base station can also transmit to the user device information on reallocation of bandwidth segments in order to simplify frequency hopping of bandwidth segments between user devices serviced by the base station. Also the base station can instruct the user device to provide control signal information upon request in order to solve related uncertainty problems.
EFFECT: increased transmission capacity.
