FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, its section of orthopedic dentistry, and can be used in prosthetic treatment of patients with solitarily preserved teeth and patients with dentition defect of large length on lower jaw in order to obtain complete fixation and stabilisation of detachable dental prosthesis. Partial detachable lower jaw prosthesis includes plastic basis with installed in it artificial teeth and clasps. Prosthesis is provided with stops, made from plastic individually in concordance with anatomical relief of muscular niches and rigidly connected with vestibular surface of prosthesis basis in area of prosthesis bed, corresponding to place of muscular niches location. In lateral part stops are located within muscular niche, formed by cheek mucosa and fibres of buccal muscle, with length from first molar to second molar, and in anterior part in muscular niche, consisting of lip mucosa and fibres of orbicular muscle of mouth, with length from central incisor to canine.

EFFECT: obtaining optimal fixation of partial detachable lower jaw prostheses due to additional stops which increase area of contact of prosthesis with prosthesis bed.
