FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rehabilitation equipment and can be applied for travel of wheelchairs and other means of transport on staircases. Device for travel on staircases contains hingedly-thrown platform, guidingsupport, force carriage placed on staircase, traction and ratchet pawl. Hingedly-thrown platform is made with spring loaded hinges and with spring loaded catches to add steadiness. One of catches interacts with surface of one of extreme steps of staircase. Surface of platform is made from total solid flooring or from composite elements under rut of wheelchair wheels or other transport. Guiding support is rigidly connected to rails of staircase and is made profile with upper and lower slots with openings in upper slot with possibility of placing and moving in it of force carriage. Carriage is made in form of case. In case on axes placed is at least a pair of gears wit traction sprocket on axis of driven gear. Driven gear interacts with openings in upper slot with step, equal to sprocket teeth step. In case of force carriage, placed are rollers with possibility to simplify force carriage movement in slots of profile guide and bracket for connection with wheelchair by means of traction.

EFFECT: device construction is simplified and its performance possibilities are extended, possibility of travel on staircases of other means of transport with different rut width is provided.
