SUBSTANCE: claimed carriage is displaced in round guide (1) by symmetric drive units (4) arranged in carriage case (2), each drive unit including geared motor (5) and drive roller (6. Working surface of the latter is made of friction material. Carriage drive units (4) slide on pivot pins (3 rigidly secured in case (2) and arranged in parallel and in symmetry about guide (1), above its axis. Carriage comprises clevis (9) articulated with side surfaces of case (2). Invalid chair suspension (15) is pivoted at the centre of clevis lower part. Radial planes of drive roller (6) symmetry extend through pivot pins (3) of drive units (4), centre of contact spots of working surfaces of drive rollers (6) with guide (1) and pin of guide proper (1).
EFFECT: more reliable friction between drive rollers and guides, hence between operating performances of the lifter.
