SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of means intended for movement of people with disabilities in walking on stair flights, on pedestrian crossings, subway and railway stations. Device for lifting and lowering people with disabilities in walking on stair flights, comprises transport platform, equipped with driving wheel with electric motor, guide and support wheels, swing limiter and hand-rail, rigidly attached to the ladder march wall upper and lower lateral guides of the C-shaped cross-section for placement in the inner cavity of the upper side guide of the driving wheel, and in inner cavity of lower lateral guide – guide wheel, support guide for movement of supporting wheel on it, wherein drive wheel with electric motor are fixed on support vertically installed in rear part of transport platform in direction of its movement upward along ladder flight, guide and support wheels are fixed in front part of transport platform in direction of its movement upwards along ladder flight, support and contours of upper and lower lateral guides in vertical plane are made with possibility of providing horizontal position of transport platform during its movement on all sections of staircase flight, to prevent slippage during rotation of drive wheel its end surface and surface in lower part of inner cavity of upper lateral guide are made jagged.

EFFECT: disclosed is a device for lifting and lowering people with disabilities.
