FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used to produce articles form semi-manufactured articles made by thermo mechanical processing that increase higher physical-mechanical properties. Said semi-manufactured article is subjected to consecutive compression along axes Z, X and Y to allow free flowage of its material. Compression along said axes is performed at least once. Produced convex-prism-shape workpiece is subjected to stage-by-stage deformation. During said stages at least single compression is performed along new axes Z1, X1 and Y1. Said axes are produced by turning respective axes of previous stage through 30-60°. Note here that new axes Z1 and X1 are allowed to cross opposite apices of the prism, while axis Y1 can cross the center and prism opposite faces. Workpiece compression along said axes is carried out till convex-shape-prism is produced with the following parametres: c/a ≤ 1.5; c/b ≤ 1.5; a/b ≈ 1, where a, b, c are length of prism face length.

EFFECT: production of alloys with more uniform sub microcrystalline structure in volume.
