FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tool comprises body, shank and working part with hard-alloy cutting elements with their blades furnished with guide chamfers, central holes and channels to feed cutting fluid into cutting zone. To increase quality of hole, said guides represent flexible prismatic elements that serve to ensure diametric interference varying from 0.6 to 1 mm and with total area of contact between guides and hole vs cutting tool diametre making 20 to 28 mm. Note here that guide chamfers have length of 12 to 20 mm and width of 0.1 to 0.8 mm. Note also that body can have additional holes to feed cutting fluid to guides.
EFFECT: higher quality of holes.
