FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Proposed method comprises welding together of structural base workpieces (1), walls (2, 3, 4) and roof (5) made from metal sections, gluing adhesive tapes to outer surface of metal sheets of said structural wall or rood workpieces at points of their butt joints to them to be locked, temperature gap allowances being adhered to between separate sheets. Glue layer is applied on outer surfaces of said metal sheets with its width being equal to that of structural workpiece metal section and on the surface of metal sections. Wall or roof structural workpieces are laid on outer cover build-up sheet so that structural strengthening elements are located along said temperature gaps and glue layer thickness is fixed with the help of small-area spacers. Structural workpiece is pressed against said build-up sheet and is aged to produce sheeted structural workpiece of the wall or roof. Body-van is weld-assembled on the base structural workpiece to be edged by angle-pieces, and door is fitted in the opening of one of the walls.
EFFECT: higher strength and tightness, ease of manufacture.
