FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polyolefins, particularly to phosphite additives to polyolefins. Described is a composition containing the following: polyolefin, highly active phosphite - arylalkyldiphosphite of formula 
, hydrolytically stable phosphite - triarylphosphite of formula 
and sterically hindered amine as a visible light stabiliser. Described also is a method of preparing the said composition and a product from the said composition.
EFFECT: composition improves whiteness index of polyolefin and stability compared to polyolefins containing only one of the said two phosphites.
