METHOD OF ELECTRIC HYDRAULIC IMPACT ON OIL FORMATION AND DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC E21B43/25 E21B28/00

Abstract RU 2388908 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves arrangement of a borehole tool in the well in the impact area of formation, which is connected to ground power unit. Borehole tool is made in the form of hollow cylinder-shaped housing divided with partitions into tight compartments; it includes a charging device, unit of storage capacitors and a discharge unit equipped with electrodes, and all the above said is electrically interconnected. In addition, borehole tool is equipped with a switching device installed in its cavity and connected to control panel and interconnected with electric power source, and which operates in automatic mode. Switching device is installed in the compartment together with unit of storage capacitors, and the compartment in which there located is unit of storage capacitors and switching device is filled with electrically insulating medium. Constant voltage is supplied from ground power source to the charging device. Unit of storage capacitors is charged at their parallel connection to the required voltage value, and then it is discharged, which allows supply of its output voltage to electrodes of the discharge unit. Storage capacitors, after their unit has been charged, are switched over to in-series connection. Then unit of storage capacitors is discharged, thus ensuring proportionally and stepped increase of its output voltage in relation to the number of capacitors. At that, value of constant voltage supplied to the charging device is set within 300-150 V. Maximum value of the required voltage value for charging of unit of storage capacitors is 20-27 kV. Charging of unit of storage capacitors to the required voltage value is performed mainly during 20 seconds.

EFFECT: decreasing overall dimensions of the device at increasing the lowering depth, increasing efficiency of surface impact on the processed formation.
